Spark Gears Initiative is a nonprofit that delivers free, hands-on robotics courses for youth ages 8 and up-covering Arduino, CAD, programming, engineering design, and FTC-style competitive robotics. We focus on expanding access by running community-based programs at no cost and maintaining an open, shareable curriculum library so educators and teams anywhere can replicate and scale our impact.

Join the Initiative!
Anyone can join the Spark Gears Initiative-robotics teams, STEM clubs, schools, and community groups across the US! We have multiple STEM and Robotics based courses available for you to choose from, depending on what you are open to teach!
We provide the full course materials free of charge (lesson plans, slides, activities, and guides); all you need to do is plan the logistics, market to students, and teach the course in your community!
